with the very basics of designing desktops. Any member who wants to
share their own work is more than welcome, too.^^ We will provide you
with the tools and tell you how to use them....what you wana design is
upto you. Let your imagination roll!

Things you’ll need:

A decent computer
Windows XP/Vista
Software: WindowBlinds
Software: Yahoo Widgets
Software: RocketDock

First, Install WindowBlinds, Yahoo Widgets and RocketDock.

Then,
Get some cool styles/themes for WindowBlinds (link nxt post); some
widgets for Yahoo Widgets (link nxt post); and customize your
RocketDock.
To hide your icons from the Desktop: right click on your
desktop, select “Arrange icons by…” and uncheck >> “Show desktop
icons”
To add another a bar on the side, create a folder on your
desktop, and then drag it to the side - a toolbar is going to appear.
To add icons to it, again, drag them (same with RocketDock).

To move your taskbar (start), rightclick on the panel, uncheck “Lock the taskbar” and drag it.

WindowBlinds 6.01 released

Stardock
has released WindowBlinds 6.01. WindowBlinds is a program that allows
users to completely change their Windows XP or Windows Vista visual
experience. It does this by applying system-wide skins called visual
styles.

Visual styles can change nearly every element of the
Windows GUI from the Start menu, task bar, title bar, push buttons,
scrollbars, and nearly everything other part of either Windows XP or
Windows Vista.

WindowBlinds works by extending the native
drawing routines of the operating system. It does not replace system
